Breast Secrets
Amoena breast shapers offer a solution for every type of asymmetry, so you can feel body confident
Few of us talk about it, but many of us have one breast larger than the other. As many as 1 in 4 women experience a significant difference in size. Breast asymmetry can occur with age or due to surgeries like biopsies, lumpectomies or reconstructive surgery.
Fortunately, there's a simple solution for breast asymmetry with Amoena Balance Shapers.
This non-surgical solution comes in various sizes, shapes & thicknesses to recreate balance between your breasts. Our shapers can assist in balancing the difference in breast tissue weight whilst being discreet under clothing. They feel natural to the touch and always pass the hug test.
A breast shaper is a silicone insert that is placed inside the bra cup.
Wearing a shaper restores a symmetrical silhouette |

After a lumpectomy, tissue is missing from the lower part of this breast, making her silhouette asymmetrical. |
The shaper accommodates the missing tissue and lifts the remaining tissue for a push-up effect. This creates a perfectly symmetrical look. |
"After the operation, I felt out of balance. They just took out a little lump, but it feels like half the breast is missing." |
"When I wore the shaper for the first time, it was an incredible experience; suddenly, I could wear proper shirts again." |
Don't forget the importance of keeping your body balanced:
- Breasts weigh more than you think> A DD breast can weight between 500-700 grams. Having a heavier breast on one side is like carrying a heavy bag & the body starts to over compensate to keep itself balanced.
- Breast tissue extends beyond the bra cup. Missing tissue in the area around the armpit also affects the breast weight & how a bra fits.
- When one breast is heavier, the body tilts. we'll always lean towards the heavier side.
- Asymmetry can cause discomfort due to overworked muscles & pain in the back, shoulders or neck.
- Balance is important for posture. An imbalance in weight pulls the spine out of alignment.
- Bras are also designed for balance. Asymmetry in the breasts may cause the bra to ride up or pull to one side. A bra will always favour the heavier breast.
With an Amoena breast shaper you get:
- A balanced silhouette, as a result of high-quality, natural silicone
- Premium comfort, because Comfort+ technology reduces heat build up behind the shaper and helps keep a balanced temperature*
- Optimal fit for every type of breast asymmetry, made possible by our comprehensive portfolio with many breast shaper options.
