Question
Recently purchased first Amoena prosthesis. Care and cleaning instructions within the case advise to use the Soft Brush and Cleanser "provided". These items were not provided nor did the fitter mention them or provide advice other than soap and water. Quite disappointing as was an expensive purchase as I also purchased several other items suggested by fitter, such as sleeping forms and bra and pockets etc. The fitter is a major Sydney supplier with 35 years experience. As a first time purchaser any advice would have been most appreciated. I developed a dermatitis reaction to the prosthesis that is quite severe and now concerned that may have been because I didn't have the correct cleaning products. Would you please arrange to send me the cleaning items stated in warranty "as provided". Also am I required to send in registration of warranty or is my purchase recorded at the fitter. Thank you very much.

Hi, Thank you for your question. The Soft Brush and Cleanser are only provided for the Contact Breast Form. If you purchased a different Breast Form (a bra supported form) it can be washed in a mild soap and water.
It would be appreciated if you counld send in the warranty registration please.

This cleanser is great to use on my prothesis. A little goes a long way making it inexpensive to use.
A couple of years ago the cleanser ingredients were changed and it wasn't as good, so thank you Amoena for going back to the old cleanser which is excellent for cleaning the prosthesis for the best adhesion.
Interesting to see product had changed and has now returned to original recipe! I thought I had mis ordered previously. An excellent cleanser and you only need a very small amount so the container lasts for ages.

I have been using this since my Mastectomy operation nearly 26 years ago and it is an excellent product. Delivery is swift and efficient.

This is excellent for using on the contact prosthesis. The postage is quite expensive so I bought 3 together. Would definitely recommend.
Wish the container was a little more pliable as squeezing the liquid out is quite difficult, particularly the last quarter of the bottle.
Each evening I know that scrubbing my prosthesis with the brush creates a cleansing lather, then leaving them to air-dry overnight they are always ready for use the next day,
I have used this Soft Cleaner for my breast forms for years. It cleans without damaging and the fresh scent smells as clean as it makes the breast forms.

This is a gentle cleanser with a nice clean scent. A couple of drops is sufficient to clean a prosthesis. For the price you get a very reasonable amount of product.
