I have the Barbara strapless bra but neither of my breast forms fit properly in the pocket because they are too much of a triangle shape. I don’t see any forms that are close to the shape of the pocket in this bra. What would you suggest?

I just received my Barbara strapless bra through my pharmacy nurses order. Its the same size as my regular Amoena bras, but the band is so tight I cant breathe. Im wearing 34C, but is this bra supposed to be that tight??

Thank you for your message. Is this the black Barbara? Did you have a black one before? The black is indeed tighter, the black dye makes it more rigid.
Are you able to connect with your nurse and get a bigger band size? If you can get a 36 B that would be the sister size to a 34C.

Unfortunately this bra is not stocked in my usual size, 32E. I tried various sizes and found 36D was comfortable, supportive and gave good coverage. The back sizing on this bra is more snug than usual. The nude colour way is versatile.
I have some beautiful strappy Summer dresses which I have been unable to wear since surgery, except with a cardigan. This strapless bra has been a triumph, giving the dresses a new lease of life and helping me to have a fantastic holiday.

This was the only post-surgery strapless bra that I could find. Good quality and comfortable, but slightly more padding than I would have liked.
Having double mascectomy couldn't find a strapless bra that would stay in place until this one. I wear it with off the shoulder outfits with light foam inserts. Now I can wear off the shoulder without worry.
After a double mastectomy I didn't think I would be able to wear a strapless bra but I was wrong. This bra is great - and allows me to wear clothes I never thought possible. Thank you.

This was a lovely bra which arrived promptly but sadly did not fit. I found the sizing guide did not work for me. Luckily I met two of your lovely specialist fitters at Elm Unit, Ilford and next time I will know what to order!
Perfect fit for me - have been trying to find a comfortable bra that makes you feel normal and not frumpy. I have now bought two more in the different colours. Will be interested to see what the new stock will be like.

I hadn't expected to find a brilliant post surgery strapless bra, but this is perfect and actually stays put comfortably. I bought it for the outfit I had for my sons wedding and was thrilled with it, very comfortable and stayed where it should.

I've worn this both with clear straps and no straps. Either way, it feels extremely secure and the straps aren't visible. Highly recommend

It is lovely to be able to wear a reliable strapless bra. Straps on a bra with a prosthetic need to be tight and if, like me you have lack of muscle due to a mastectomy this can eventually begin to cause aches and pains. I think this bra should be on prescription. I don't think I want to wear any other kind of bra.

I waited patiently for this bra to come back into stock in my usual size 32C but it got to the point where I desperately needed a strapless bra for my recent holiday. Usually I would have gone to a 34B but that was also out of stock so after reading other reviews about small band sizing I decided to take a risk and try the 36A which is a good fit. I find it very comfortable with a good depth to the cups and the silicone trim on the inside means it stays in place and feels very secure. When wearing with the straps I would have liked some additional anchor points at the centre front to allow halter styling but to be honest I’m quite comfortable wearing it completely strapless. As others have said, don’t be afraid to try different sizes for a good fit…
