Red Dot Award 2020 - Best Product Design

Launched a few months ago, the Adapt Air breast prosthesis enhances Amoena's premium product portfolio. The novel technology set standards in the industry and within breast prosthetics. The concept, which is designed to provide the highest possible wearing comfort and a natural appearance, was especially recognized by the award judges. With an integrated air chamber and a special pump, an Adapt Air prosthesis can be individually adapted to the chest wall and the natural silhouette of the user.

This shortens the fitting process and if necessary, the wearer can change the volume herself whenever and as often as she wants.

The Red Dot Award jury presented the Adapt Air with the Red Dot Award 2020 for product design. The jury was impressed by the design, which was developed for maximum comfort and a natural appearance.

The Red Dot Award originated in 1955 and exists to determine the best new products each year. Manufacturers and designers from all over the world can submit their designs to the competition in 49 categories.

New Lightweight Silicone Breast Prosthesis 

A high level of comfort is achieved by combining different technologies in the Adapt Air breast form. Comfort + technology promotes temperature balance between the body and the prosthesis, reducing perspiration. Thanks to the use of special lightweight silicones, prostheses in the Adapt Air group are also available in two different weight classes, either 25 percent or 40 percent lighter than a conventional prosthesis of the same size.

Amoena Adapt Air mastectomy forms are available in 2 modern shapes for a shallow and average cup form.
