COOLMAX® ACTIVE by INVISTA – Performance fabric to keep you comfortable

Moisture-wicking was one of the first performance technologies Amoena embraced; we added it to some of our bra pockets years ago with COOLMAX® ACTIVE fabric. It absorbs and spreads moisture out across the fabric to speed up evaporation and drying rate. Specially engineered, COOLMAX® ACTIVE fabric is soft, breathable and sophisticated.

Modal® by Lenzing – Naturally soft and ecologically sound 

Ultra-soft Modal® was first introduced in Amoena’s Valletta tank tops, and was loved immediately! It’s no wonder – each garment made with Modal® is less likely to pill or fade, resists shrinking better than cotton, and can even feel cool to the touch. It’s great for travel or casual relaxation. Even better, the Austrian process used to make Modal is energy efficient and ecologically sound. 

LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ by INVISTA – Holds its shape and resists deterioration

Swimwear by Amoena has long been made with LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ fiber because of its amazing shape-retention and chlorine resistance properties. We know you need swimwear that will maintain an excellent, long-lasting fit. When cared for properly, LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ resists sagging and allows the freedom of movement you need for your active lifestyle.

Sensitive® by EUROJERSEY – Resists the damaging effects of sun and surf

Offering superior chlorine resistance, UV protection (UPF 50+) and breathability, Sensitive® has recently been added to the Amoena fabric portfolio for its emphasis on comfort and style. The fabric is light with a technological, modern feel and a great fit.

Darwin® by Carivco – Absolutely chlorine resistant 

Darwin is a 100% polyester fabric specially engineered for competitive swimwear. Its shape-holding capability and secure fit is perfect for Amoena, too; because of its extra resistance to chlorine, it doesn’t lose its elasticity. Excellent recovery and UV protection (UPF 50+), Darwin® holds up! 

WONDER by Jersey Lomellina – Soft, light, compact, ultra-thin, and versatile

Technologically advanced, Wonder perfectly blends lightness, moisture wicking properties, shaping power and freedom of movement. It is indeed ideal for the creation of stylish and sophisticated beachwear, trendy underwear as well as yoga and fitness. Made in Italy, it offers excellent UV protection, is ultra chlorine resistant, pilling resistant and offers two-way stretch for a perfect fit. Wonder is a fabric of Jersey Lomellina.

MALAGA by Carvico – The perfect balance between lightness and elasticity

Malaga is chlorine and abrasions resistant and UV protective (UPF 50+) and remains unaltered over time. It is made in Italy, and is pilling resistant, ultrachlorine resistant, and offers two-way stretch and a perfect fit. Malaga is a fabric of Carvico..

VITA by Carvico – Sustainable fabric made with Econyl®

Vita, a fabric by Carvico, uses Econyl® fibre – a 100% regenerated nylon fibre from post-consumer materials which, when tested in real life conditions, proved to be two times more resistant to chlorine, suntan creams and oils than competitors’ fabrics. Vita fabric provides excellent UV protection, ultrachlorine resistance, two-way stretch and shape retention. Vita is made in Italy.

ECONYL® by Aquafil S.p.A. – 100% regenerated and 100% regenerable nylon

ECONYL® is 100% regenerated nylon, an innovative fiber produced with fishing nets and other nylon products that have reached the end of their product life. Aquafil uses a closed-loop regeneration system to create ECONYL® textile yarns in a sustainable and infinitely regenerable way.
