In 1975 Amoena was founded with a commitment to support women diagnosed with breast cancer and help them rebuild their self-confidence again.

We strive to support women's confidence after breast surgery and accompany them on their individual journey from diagnosis and treatment, through to recovery and beyond.

Our journey began with the vision and determination of one man – Cornelius Rechenberg. Passionate and persistent, he pursued one goal: to improve the care women received after mastectomy by creating comfortable, natural-looking breast forms.

Adapt Air is the world’s first fully adjustable breast form, thanks to its innovative integral air chamber technology by Amoena. The volume of air in the chamber – and the size and shape of the breast form – can be fully adjusted by the woman herself, using the special pump provided.
