Devised by our product development team, who have over 40 years’ specialist experience in post-surgery lingerie, breast forms and fitting techniques, our workshops and seminars are designed to help support you in your day-to-day work.
Training that’s built around your needs
We want to make our training courses assessable and enjoyable. We offer:
• Workshops at select venues around the country as well as at the Amoena head office in Hampshire.
• Training at your premises, as well as one-to-one sessions that can be uniquely tailored to your needs.
• A programme of virtual online seminars, ideal for anyone who is time-pressed or unable to travel to an off-site venue.
Practical fitting demonstrations
It’s important to experience real-life situations during training, which is why our workshops include practical fitting demonstrations using breast-operated women. You will also have the opportunity to practise the fitting techniques yourself.
Certificate of attendance
At the end of the workshop or seminar you will be presented with a certificate as confirmation of your attendance and the training hours can be put towards your CPD plan.
This is ideal for new Amoena retailers but could also be of interest to breast care nurses, particularly those who are new to the role.
It will include a brief introduction to Amoena; theoretical training on breast anatomy; an overview of breast cancer and the various types of treatment, and a look at some of the psychological aspects of working with newly diagnosed women. There will be practical fitting training with women who have undergone breast cancer surgery, and full product training on the Amoena portfolio so that you can recommend the best product in any fitting situation.
This workshop includes a step-by-step introduction to breast form fitting, which is ideal for breast care nurses who are new to the post, as well as providing a refresher for more experienced fitters.
The content covers the importance of a well-fitting bra, how to measure and fit both the bra and the breast form, and how to deal with fitting situations that demand extra care. Using breast-operated models, we will demonstrate fitting techniques for different surgery types, and will also look at some of the more complicated fitting situations you may encounter.
This workshop is aimed at more experienced fitters with a focus on how to help patients with more intricate fitting requirements. The workshop will start with a condensed guide to fitting techniques to bring you right up to date.
You’ll work with breast-operated women and take a look at how breast forms are changing to accommodate the latest surgery techniques, how to fit women who have had bilateral surgery and how to deal with more complicated fitting situations like uneven scarring. For partial breast form fittings, which can be quite complex, we will show you the latest, simplified fitting technique.

This workshop looks at some of the most common challenges experiencing when fitting a breast form and provides tips for measuring and fitting, plus the chance to learn more about Adapt Air, our award-winning breast form.
This seminar covers the causes of breast asymmetry and how they can be addressed with non-invasive solutions. We will look at using breast shapers to achieve an even outline and demonstrate our latest innovation, Balance Adapt Air, a shaper that adjusts to fit every body shape.
This session will cover the benefits of compression and scar management therapies, and how they can work effectively in combination. It includes an overview of our recovery care range, which is designed to promote optimal healing.
