The letter considers the shape: (S) symmetrical, (A) asymmetrical or (E) extra. Generally, a symmetrical shape is best after a standard mastectomy and an asymmetrical breast form is best if you have had lymph nodes or tissue removed from under your arm, see our guide to breast form basics and also the fitting guide

If the breast form sticks on and remains in place, how do you get it off? Also I have a size 7 breast form, do I order 7 L ( left breast) asymmetrical as I have had surgery for lymph nodes under arm?

Answer

The breast form can be removed by getting a little water behind it in the bath or shower.

If you feel you need the underarm extra then yes pleas order an asymmetrical. We would advise that you choose the Sample service

to start so that you can ensure the correct fit before you commit to the contact as they cannot be returned.

Could you please tell me the weight of this prothesis . I already have one of yours but it is very heavy.

Hi there ,

We so sorry we don't hold weight of the breast form.

If you have asymmetrical breast form we only do in one weight which is regular weight .

We have in light weight but the breast form shape is in symmetrical Contact Light 2s.

What is the procedure when I order a sample contact breastform.

Answer

When you order a sample it is for you to make sure that you are happy with the shape and size. If you are sure that it is the one for you ,you will return it to us and we will send you a brand new one in the same size and style of the one you returned. this will then be subject to a 3 month trail when you will decide if you are happy with wearing a contact form. should you decide that the Contact is not for you you can then return it after the trial period and exchange it for a non Contact form.
