Our 40-year history of listening to women makes us experts in bra design after breast surgery, and we design with you in mind. Comfortable, adjustable straps to relieve your shoulders, pockets to hold your breast form securely in place, cups that are cut to follow the shape of the breast form, wider underbands to provide a little extra support, and other technical details you won't notice, but you will appreciate.

  • Shoulder straps support your breast form without putting any strain on the shoulders. Some styles and sizes have wider, padded comfort straps that taper for optimal support.
  • Discreet, multi-option pockets too will hold your breast form securely in place, so it won't slip out or show over the top of the cup. Made from ultra-fine or microfibre fabric which is shaped to fit perfectly into the bra cup, and soft to the touch.
  • Amoena's range includes both wired and non-wired bra styles. Our flex-comfort underwires are specially designed to follow the curve of your breast form, providing gentle support without putting pressure on your breast form or scar area.
  • Amoena bras can be worn by all women - whether you need a bilateral, left, right or non-pocketed bra.

The last 2 Lara bras I have bought recently have much thicker and very slightly wider straps then my previous ones. I'm not keen on these new straps and I wonder why they were changed and will you be changing back to the more dainty ones that in my opinion look much better.

The Lara straps are wider to provide more comfort, there are no future plans to change these at the moment but we do have anumber of other styles that are similar to the Lara, please contact our customer service team who can discuss the sizing and the specific requirements you have to suggest some styles for you.

Yes, silicone form can be exchanged for size. Although if it is the contact that you are considering this has a specific exchange policy and samples can be purchased to ensure that your skin is ok with the adhesion process.

Do you make a bra with same shape as Lara without the boning. I find the bones dig in and in desparation I had to cut them out. This of course left a hole.

Hi You could try the Magdalena 44533 this does not have side boning and is padded or Mara which is also padded with no side boning.

Can you tell me how the sizing works for breast forms Also I had a fitting a month ago and I was told to order Natura 1S size 2 for the prothesis right side as well as the balance Natura MD size 2 for the left side. I am a 34AA. Those forms feel too big for my body - much larger than before the op . I am not comfortable with it. Do you do smaller sizes and if so will this affect my current bra size? Answer

The size recommended for a 34AA wold be a size 2. It is so difficult to be able to advise you without seeing you. You can go down to a size 1 in both forms but it is nopt possible to go down in bra size as AA is the smallest (in our bras).
