I would need to know more measurements, but the Frances size for a 38A would be a (M A/B). It is best to get re-measured again since your bra has started to feel tight. The possibility is that your band and cup has changed since you surgery. It is always best to get a proper fit once a year. I visited a shop before my unilateral mastectomy. I wore a 34G. The salesperson put me in a 36DD Esther bra. Unfortunately, it is way too tight. Non-returnable because of covid. I understand. But what brasize do you suggest for me?

Based on your information is seems that you purchased your bra prior to your surgery, if this is correct, I would highly suggest that you contact a retailer to get fitted if it has been more than 6 to 8 weeks after your surgery.
